EastLink sponsors the Ringwood Gift 1600m Open 2024 (Sat 16 Mar)

Wednesday 13 March 2024

The Ringwood Gift athletics meeting is at Proclamation Park, Ringwood, on Saturday 16 March (11am-5:15pm), and EastLink is a sponsor.

This is the 44th year of the Ringwood Gift athletics meeting, with a range of running events from 70m and 100m sprints up to 1600m.

The Ringwood Gift is operated by The Ringwood Professional Athletic Club (RPAC) as part of the Victorian Athletic League (VAL).

The VAL season consists of 18 events around the state, culminating with the famous Stawell Gift at Easter. The Ringwood Gift is the final event this year prior to the Stawell Gift.

Competing in VAL Gift races allows male and female athletes, of all ages and abilities, to compete in a fun and competitive environment. Each athlete is given a starting mark, or handicap, based on their ability and past results, giving them an equal opportunity to triumph in their chosen event.

Winners and finalists in each event receive cash prizes.

Come and see the Ringwood Gift

The Ringwood Gift will be open to the public ($5 entry fee per person).
