'Get started' is a new feature to help visitors to our website.

Provide your vehicle's details (licence plate number, state of registration and class) and our website will find:

  • any outstanding toll invoices for the vehicle
  • any unused trip passes for the vehicle
  • whether the vehicle is linked to an EastLink account, so that you can either make a quick payment or login to the account.

You must select the correct class for your vehicle:

  • CAR - motor vehicles other than those that comply with any of the classifications below. Cars include those Cars towing trailers and caravans.
  • MOTORCYCLE - two wheeled motor vehicles (including those with side cars).
  • LIGHT COMMERCIAL VEHICLE (LCV) - LCVs have two axles, cab-chassis construction, and a gross vehicle mass greater than 1.5 tonnes but not exceeding 4.5 tonnes.
  • HEAVY COMMERCIAL VEHICLE (HCV) - HCVs include all of the following vehicles: (i) vehicles with three or more axles, cab-chassis construction, and a gross vehicle mass greater than 1.5 tonnes; (ii) articulated vehicles with cab-chassis construction, and a gross vehicle mass greater than 1.5 tonnes; (iii) buses with more than 12 seating positions (including the driver); (iv) vehicles with two axles, cab-chassis construction, and a gross vehicle mass greater than 4.5 tonnes; and (v) all other vehicles with a gross vehicle mass greater than 30 tonnes.

Outstanding debts

We may list outstanding debts (pending debt) relating to your vehicle for any past trips on EastLink that were not paid. If you were not the owner of the vehicle when a debt was incurred, un-tick the tick that is displayed next to the debt, and then proceed.

There may be an outstanding debt shown for a toll invoice that has proceeded to a Victoria Police infringement penalty (i.e. a fine). This outstanding debt still needs to be paid, and includes the fees relating to the toll invoice, plus any additional trips on the invoice that were not referred by us to Victoria Police for the infringement penalty.
